Terms of Service
Last updated: September 15, 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of TrackYour.Finance (the "Service"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service. Questions can be sent to contact@trackyour.finance.
2. What the Service does
TrackYour.Finance reads data from a Google Sheet you connect and presents it as dashboards, charts, and projections. When you add, edit, or delete a transaction (or similar record) in the app, we write that change back to your Sheet. Your Sheet remains yours at all times, hosted in your own Google account — we act only as a client that reads and writes it on your instruction. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle the limited account data we do keep.
3. Your account
You're responsible for the accuracy of the data in your Sheet and for keeping your account credentials and Google account secure. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
4. Google Drive access
If you connect Google Drive, you grant the Service two permissions (drive.file and spreadsheets) to read and write Google Sheets data — our own code only ever touches the specific Sheet you pick or that we create for you, never any other file in your Drive. Your use of Google Sheets and Google Drive themselves remains subject to Google's own terms of service, separate from these Terms. You can revoke our access at any time from your Google Account settings; doing so disconnects the Sheet from the dashboard until you reconnect it.
5. Subscriptions and billing
Some features require a paid subscription, billed and processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges at the price and interval shown at checkout until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we don't provide refunds for partial periods except where required by law. We may change subscription pricing going forward, with reasonable notice before it applies to you.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for anything unlawful, or to violate anyone else's rights;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user's account or data;
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure, including by circumventing rate limits;
- Reverse-engineer the Service beyond what applicable law expressly permits.
7. No financial advice
TrackYour.Finance is a data visualization and organization tool. Nothing it shows — including projections, forecasts, or goal calculations — is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. You're solely responsible for decisions you make based on it.
8. Service "as is"
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will always be able to read from or write to your Sheet — Google's own APIs and rate limits are outside our control.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrackYour.Finance won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any loss of or damage to data in your Google Sheet. Because your financial data lives in your own Sheet, you retain your own independent access to it and are responsible for your own backups.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms. Termination doesn't affect the data in your own Google Sheet, which remains yours regardless.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We'll update the "Last updated" date above and post material changes prominently in the app. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your own country of residence.
